Why choose the M4 wheelchair?
The M4 is XSTO's popular smart electric chair featuring self-balancing technology for stability, foldable design for compact storage, adjustable seat height (347–650 mm), 10° slope capability, omnidirectional mecanum wheels enabling 360° rotation, app-based remote control, and detachable 4-module quick disassembly ideal for travel.
Can the M4 be used on grass, sand, or gravel?
Yes! Its robust tyres and powerful motor handle grass, packed sand, and gravel effectively. For loose sand or rough ground, reduce speed to maintain stability.
What is the maximum weight capacity?
The M4 supports up to 115 kg (254 lbs) and maintains stable performance within this limit for safe operation.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
Under typical daily use (regular speed, moderate terrain), the standard 25.55V 15.5Ah battery provides up to 15 km (9.3 miles) per charge. Full recharge takes approximately 4 hours.
Can the M4 be taken on flights?
The M4 includes a standard 25.55V 15.5Ah removable battery. For air travel, a compatible lower-capacity airline battery (sold separately) is recommended. While that battery meets most airline requirements, please confirm with your airline before flying.
How soon can I receive the M4 after ordering?
Within the UK: 3–4 working days with free delivery to mainland addresses. For Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and offshore islands, please contact us for delivery timescales. A tracking number will be emailed after dispatch.
Is XSTO UK the manufacturer?
No. Bentech Medical Ltd is the Official UK Distributor of XSTO products. We handle all UK sales, delivery, warranty and after-sales support. XSTO International is the manufacturer.
What warranty is included?
The M4 is covered by the standard XSTO manufacturer warranty: 5 years on the frame and base seat structure, 1 year on electrical and mechanical parts (motors, controller, etc.), and 1 year on the battery.
